OZ PLANET CEO speaks at the Russian-Uzbek Business Council meeting in Tashkent

On 21 April 2026 Tashkent hosted the 12th meeting of the Russian-Uzbek and Uzbek-Russian Business Councils, an important platform for dialogue between business and government representatives of the two countries. The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan brought together representatives of government bodies, business and export support organizations, ministries and companies developing bilateral cooperation. The meeting was held as part of the Innoprom. Central Asia international industrial exhibition, allowing participants not only to discuss strategic issues of Russia–Uzbekistan cooperation but also to expand business contacts beyond the bilateral format.
A platform for real solutions
Economic cooperation between Uzbekistan and Russia is growing rapidly, with mutual trade already exceeding ten billion dollars. Against this backdrop, direct dialogue between market participants is becoming more important in the search for new, effective tools for cooperation.
The main goal of such bilateral meetings is not formal discussion but the practical development of partnerships. Participants focus on:
- strengthening economic ties between Russia and Uzbekistan
- increasing trade and investment
- helping companies enter each other's markets
One of the speakers of the business program was our CEO Alexander Bogdanov, who presented digital financial solutions that help companies grow in international markets.
Digital solutions without borders
In the business session, Alexander Bogdanov gave a talk titled "The successful experience of developing a digital factoring platform in the Republic of Uzbekistan. Financing and advising Russian companies working in the Uzbek market".
In his speech he covered:
- the specifics of Uzbekistan's financing market and the step-by-step introduction of factoring — from adapting to local regulation to building demand among businesses;
- the role of the OZ PLANET platform, which enables digital interaction between foreign trade participants and speeds up financial processes;
- how digital factoring helps companies enter new markets.
"By providing factoring financing to Uzbek companies, OZ PLANET supports the resilience of Russian-Uzbek supply chains and stimulates the growth of mutual trade," said Alexander Bogdanov.
The key idea of the talk was that succeeding in a new market today is impossible without a synergy of financial instruments and a digital environment, where financing and technology work together to ensure an efficient, secure and transparent foreign trade process.
Expanding horizons
Taking part in the event was another step in developing our international business, as it allowed us to present our new solutions to key players in the Russian-Uzbek market, from government bodies to businesses. Direct dialogue with potential partners and financial institutions opens up additional opportunities to scale the platform and strengthen our position in the region.
The business community's growing interest in digital financial tools and the active development of bilateral cooperation create a favorable environment for modern solutions that can make businesses more efficient in international markets.
According to Alexander Bogdanov, the goal for the coming years is to increase trade between Russia and Uzbekistan to USD 30 billion.
"With our solution, we are helping economic cooperation between the two countries grow, so that suppliers and buyers can work with each other without barriers," he noted.
