OZ PLANET educational initiative: digital factoring training for Ipak Yuli Bank staff

On 22 February 2025 the OZ PLANET team held training on working with the digital platform for employees of the regional branches of Ipak Yuli Bank. About 50 employees who provide factoring services to legal entities in different regions of Uzbekistan attended.

The training took the form of a seminar: OZ PLANET director Alexander Bogdanov gave a presentation, followed by a demonstration of the OZ PLANET platform and a review of real cases. The goal was to improve the skills of staff who work with clients in the factoring process and to demonstrate new features of the OZ PLANET platform.

The seminar covered the specifics of digital factoring as an effective financial tool for small and medium-sized businesses and its benefits for the bank and its clients. Particular emphasis was placed on the security of the OZ PLANET platform for storing clients' personal data and the bank's confidential information.

Ipak Yuli has provided digital factoring since September 2024, when the bank joined the OZ PLANET platform. Since then the bank has accumulated many cases, allowing staff to share experience and ask OZ PLANET representatives questions arising from practice.

The initiative of the Ipak Yuli employees deserves special mention. They asked many questions, actively discussed specific factoring financing cases and were not afraid to answer thought-provoking questions (and were right in most cases). OZ PLANET representatives highly appreciated the attention, interest and engagement of their colleagues.

After the event, the parties were able to talk in an informal setting, which helped strengthen mutual understanding.

Ipak Yuli employees noted the value of the training and agreed with OZ PLANET to hold the next stage remotely.
